Had this hidden hankering, like a four year secret garden
Blooming perennials, shrubs, trees that have to bear fruit this season
Delicate annual florets open every time you speak w/me
I'm a quadrennial animal, bush elephant, North American bear,
a female gorilla just finished weaning
Four the number of seasons and foundation
the number of Gospel Good News proclamations
Renovate the wasteland return desert into tramontane meadow
- if only
Say my name in your state of emergency
say it like a child calling his mother discover
Clouds gather like a prairie storm
quick and violent over the Savannah
The smell of rain on the dust, stirs an ancient lust
A sacred trust, fecund hope in irriguous pasture
I'm a farmer, been fertilizing our fantasy
Our mutual compatibility
what water wells we share in common
Similar range ambitions and dream landscapes
As near to you as the beat of the heart drum
waiting in the silence between
yielding submission
Prayers you were there, aware
Prepare to cultivate as the ox with the plough
This is just a space for little things I need to write, like stream of consciousness ramblings that purge myself of silly things that might come up and out during the day (or night).
About Me
- Kathy (杜 言 艷)
- I just returned back to the States after 11 years in Taiwan with my daughter. Taiwan is an excellent base for us explore Asia, while living in relative (gun free) safety, while benefiting from a cheap and efficient national health care system. The people are amazing too. I have Taiwanese friendships that are 20 years old and I'm always making new ones! My coworker here in CO is from Taiwan.
