Quite the same underneath the skin
The adventurer knows a treasure
When he finds it
Regard the map, fragile route
Into foreign territory
The traveler knows a fellow traveler
From the holiday makers merry making

Ive been weathered like the earth
As dying mountains crown the valley
A winter field left to rest some seasons
A bit of wilderness came in
One day daffodils were found among the thicket border

Now is the occasion to commence
The field has been plowed open
I'm as yielding as that pasture
I've received in spring before

You're the one the tempest is betting on
Is your blood roused too?
Are you blind?
or do I just frighten you?
