If Joseph could be imprisoned w/ a false kiss
Forgotten in a dungeon of woman’s lust
I can hold out a little longer
Until the next moon swell
If he such a prince, a child of a virile father
Firstborn of his mother
Beautifully well made potential in every muscle
Could wait as long as he
Cultivate ancient immortality
Then I can rule pyramids, the Nile w/in me
Delta flood of possibility
I learn to mummify well known methods of satisfaction
Still w/honey and myrrh body memory reaction
Reading pharaoh’s dreams as distraction
I will be released eventually
I am a burnt desert crusty earthed caking over
Underground forgotten reservoirs
When you brothers of another mother return
On your knees to discover
You beg for mercy and not recognize me
When you find mercy overflowing
You’ll find me regal, knowing
Being a slave was worth it
This is just a space for little things I need to write, like stream of consciousness ramblings that purge myself of silly things that might come up and out during the day (or night).
About Me
- Kathy (杜 言 艷)
- I just returned back to the States after 11 years in Taiwan with my daughter. Taiwan is an excellent base for us explore Asia, while living in relative (gun free) safety, while benefiting from a cheap and efficient national health care system. The people are amazing too. I have Taiwanese friendships that are 20 years old and I'm always making new ones! My coworker here in CO is from Taiwan.
