About Me

My photo
I just returned back to the States after 11 years in Taiwan with my daughter. Taiwan is an excellent base for us explore Asia, while living in relative (gun free) safety, while benefiting from a cheap and efficient national health care system. The people are amazing too. I have Taiwanese friendships that are 20 years old and I'm always making new ones! My coworker here in CO is from Taiwan.

Your Name

I like to see your name in print
How it looks on the page
Otherworld mother tongue original language

I like to say your name
The feel of you in my mouth
As common as it seems
Seems original, individual to me

I prefer your face above all others
Hear your voice, your account in your accent
Like rolling water breaking gently smooth on stones
I like to share the same room with you, same shore
Alone, but together in purposeful activity

I like to spend my quiet time reflecting on your hidden gestures
Fascinated heartbroken from unsaid confessions
I nest in your hearth at every opportunity
Make myself at home in your fellowship
Sharing more than taste
All I waste is time

Extend your hand over the imaginary boundary
Meet me in the beginning
Before judgment's ruling, we were united in Paradise
A tree is growing, has been forming
Unseen in the undergrowth, roots planted and intertwined
Our fears and shame obscure the beautiful naivety
Unsuccessfully cover vulnerability, as orchards choked by vine
Embrace my nakedness
Unclothe me
Fig leaves in the shadows have no place between us

I love to say your name, bring it up in conversation
For no other purpose than adoration
