You were just a sunshine fantasy
A bright light summer crowned joy boy
Wreathed in morning
Towering over everyone like Gilgamesh
We all waited to be called on of your quests
After months of your season, the clouds are moving in
I knew we could never be
that everything is temporary
you were not for me
still so sad you're leaving
You've been like a familiar tree
Ive passed by daily
no more fragrant shade to refresh me
no sound of dancing breezes in your softness
You cannot promise anything
You are free
You are like light I cannot catch
just reflect
How will I burn bright w/o you?
How can I be the moon w/o you?
This is just a space for little things I need to write, like stream of consciousness ramblings that purge myself of silly things that might come up and out during the day (or night).
About Me
- Kathy (杜 言 艷)
- I just returned back to the States after 11 years in Taiwan with my daughter. Taiwan is an excellent base for us explore Asia, while living in relative (gun free) safety, while benefiting from a cheap and efficient national health care system. The people are amazing too. I have Taiwanese friendships that are 20 years old and I'm always making new ones! My coworker here in CO is from Taiwan.
